In 2021, I officially completed two huge novels - Daughter Darkness, my debut dark fantasy story in The Myrk Maiden Trilogy, and its sequel, Daughter Dusk. What a busy, bookish bundle of months it has been since this year began!

If you're a Myrk Maiden fan and are chomping at the bit to discover what happens to Twilight after that agonizing cliff-hanger in Book 1, prepare yourself - there's a new Daughter in town, and she's winding the clock back to the dusk!

Daughter Darkness readers know that Book 1 "finished" on an unsettling note. Twilight's fate, and that of her soul, is suspended in the balance; what on Aash will this deeply disturbed young girl do with herself after all she's been subjected to... and subjected others to? Could there possibly be redemption for someone who has done the things she has?

Only time and a truckload more of terror will tell, but get pumped for the release of the sequel novel in spring/summer of 2022!
